MANUFACTURING PROJECT MANAGER - MEP MAIN CONTRACTOR - CARLOW

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a leading Main MEP Contractor working on projects in
Ireland and across mainland Europe.

This is an excellent opportunity to progress your career with a
leading contractor

As a Manufacturing Project Manager, you will be Reporting to the
General Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for all
aspect of pre-production planning, production control and supervision.
Extensive know-how in production procedures is essential with ability
to direct personnel towards maximum performance.

Oversee a workforce in the manufacturing assembly department

Manage throughput from multiple outsourced fabrication facilities

Complete daily pre-production meetings to review safety, quality and
production issues with their teams.

Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product
lines

Liaise with department heads in the Management of the Production
schedule

Organise workflow, develop productions processes and select
appropriate equipment

Determine necessary human and material resources

Monitor product standards and implement quality-control programmes;

Implementation of best practice in Health & Safety compliance

Contribute to product development

REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in Production / Assembly Management, in an
industrial Engineering related industry

Degree qualified in Engineering or equivalent (Manufacturing
Engineering an advantage)

Extensive knowledge of production management and performance
evaluation

Experienced in formulation and reporting of key production metrics

A familiarity with quality standards and health & safety regulations

Proficient in MS Office EXCEL and ERP software

Excellent organisational and leadership skills with high attention to
detail

Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach towards
Manufacturing Excellence

Six Sigma qualification would be advantageous but not essential
